Report CP

The Report Control Panel (Or Report CP) is split into two sections: Reported Posts and Reported Private Messages (PMs). Moderators can use the control panel to deal with posts and PMs that members have reported for violating the board rules.

Reported Posts

When viewing the list of reported posts, there are several columns:

  • Reported in Topic is the topic in which the reported post is located. Click on a title to view the report.
  • # of Reports is the amount of times the post in question has been reported.
  • Post's Author is the user that posted the reported post. Click to view their profile.
  • Reported By is the user that reported the post. Click to view their profile
  • Reported At is the time at which the post was reported.

If multiple users have reported the same post, then the Reported By field will show Multiple instead of the usernames.

Viewing Reported Posts

When viewing reported posts, there are three subsections: Firstly, the report itself, followed by Report Details and Report Actions.

Viewing Report

  • Post shows the post which has been reported. The post can also be edited by clicking Edit Post.
  • Post's Author is the author of the reported post. Clicking on the username will show the user's profile.
  • Warn Level allows you to view and change the Warn Level of the offending user.
  • Topic Located In is in the format of Category > Forum > Topic. Clicking on any part of the trail will show the appropriate location.

Report Details

  • Reported By shows the name of the user that reported the post (click to view profile), followed by the time the user reported it.
  • Reason is the reason for which the user reported the post.

Report Actions

  • Topic presents a drop-down menu, from which you may select an action to perform on the topic.
  • AutoTools presents two further drop-down menus, from which you may select an action to perform on either the offending member, the offending topic, or both.

You do not need to complete all fields in the Report Actions section

Reported PMs

When viewing the list of reported PMs, there are several columns:

  • PM Title is the title of the reported PM. Click on a title view the report.
  • PM Sent By is the name of the user who sent the reported PM. Click to view their profile.
  • Reported By is the user that reported the PM.
  • Reported At is the time that the PM was reported.

  • Apply an AutoTool allows you to apply an AutoTool to the offending member..

Who can use the Report CP?

Administrators, Global Moderators and single forum moderators are able to access the Report CP. It is not possible to change these settings or grant them on an individual basis.

  • Reported PMs are only viewable to Administrators and Global Moderators.
  • Single forum moderators will only be able to view reports made in the forums they are a moderator of.
