Domain Setup: FreeDNS

  1. Register for the FreeDNS service by visiting the registration page.
  2. Choose the Registry option from the side menu.
  3. Choose a root domain from the 30,000 options available.
  4. Finally, set up the CNAME record.
    1. Type: CNAME
    2. Subdomain: Enter a short name that will become part of the URL.
    3. Domain: The root domain you picked will show up here. For example, in the picture below, your board's URL would be myboard.g.la
    4. Address: Enter the domain name displayed in your domain manager. (Example: zetaboards.com)
  5. You can now add the domain to the Domain Manager in your ACP.
